Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Esafqa (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you install or use SalePilot Bulk Price Editor (“the App”), a Shopify application that helps merchants plan, preview, schedule, and apply bulk price changes and related workflows.

Last updated:

Introduction

Esafqa operates SalePilot Bulk Price Editor from Jordan. This policy applies to merchants who install the App on their Shopify store and to visitors who access our public documentation. By using the App, you acknowledge that we will process certain information as described here and as permitted by applicable law.

Shopify processes checkout and customer data on its platform according to Shopify’s own policies. Our use of data is limited to operating and improving the App and supporting merchants who use it.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process categories of information such as:

  • Store and account identifiers. Such as your Shopify shop domain, shop ID, and user or staff identifiers needed to associate the App installation with your store and session.
  • Product catalog data relevant to pricing workflows. Including products, variants, SKUs, compare-at and price fields, status, and inventory indicators where needed for previews, targeting, and applying bulk edits consistent with your selections.
  • Collections and targeting inputs. Information you use to scope bulk tasks (for example, collections or filters), only as configured by you or your authorized users.
  • Task configuration and history. Settings you define for bulk pricing tasks (such as rules, schedules, and preview outcomes), execution records, timestamps, and outcomes needed to show task status and audit trails within the App.
  • Snapshots and rollback-related data. Where the App supports rollback or restoration workflows, we may store snapshots or prior-value references sufficient to perform those operations when offered and when you choose to use them. Accuracy depends on the data available from Shopify and your task configuration at the time.
  • Billing and subscription status. Plan identifier, subscription status, and related metadata as reported by Shopify’s billing APIs—Merchants are charged by Shopify according to Shopify’s billing flows; we use this information to enforce plan limits and display entitlement within the App.
  • Scheduling and usage-related data. Information associated with scheduled tasks or queued runs, including execution windows and diagnostic signals needed to operate scheduling reliably.
  • Support communications. Messages, email addresses, and technical details you provide when contacting Esafqa for assistance.
  • Technical logs and diagnostics. Such as IP addresses, device or browser type, error logs, and performance metrics used to secure and troubleshoot the service. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide core App features: previews, bulk edits, scheduling, history, and rollback-related workflows.
  • Authenticate and authorize access tied to your Shopify installation.
  • Display task outcomes, warn when limits apply, and maintain records merchants reasonably expect when managing pricing tasks.
  • Operate billing entitlements and usage limits as communicated in the App and by Shopify.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate operational notices about the App.
  • Protect security, monitor abuse, comply with law, and improve reliability—using aggregated or de-identified insights where appropriate.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use catalog or pricing data for unrelated advertising through this App.

Shopify Data and Store Access

SalePilot Bulk Price Editor integrates with Shopify. Access to your store’s data is governed by Shopify’s APIs, the permissions you approve at installation, and any subsequent updates you authorize. We request only the scopes reasonably necessary to deliver bulk pricing features you invoke.

Shopify remains responsible for its platform and checkout flows. For details about how Shopify handles merchant and buyer data, refer to Shopify’s own documentation and agreements.

Billing and Subscription Information

Subscription charges for the App are processed through Shopify’s billing system where applicable. We receive billing status and plan references sufficient to determine eligibility for features and enforce reasonable usage limits. We do not store complete payment card numbers; payment instruments are handled by Shopify and its processors.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to operate the App, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Task history, snapshots associated with rollback-style workflows, and logs may be retained for limited periods consistent with these purposes. When data is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.

Uninstalling the App typically triggers Shopify’s normal disconnect flows; residual retention may still apply where necessary for legitimate business or legal reasons for a limited period.

Sharing of Information

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors who host infrastructure, monitor reliability, or provide security services under contractual safeguards appropriate to their role.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Esafqa, merchants, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

We do not sell personal information. Where Shopify facilitates international transfers, those transfers are subject to Shopify’s mechanisms and your agreements with Shopify.

Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security; you should protect Shopify credentials and limit staff permissions appropriately.

Merchant Rights / Contact

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Many requests relating to merchant accounts on Shopify may need to be coordinated through Shopify where Shopify acts as a processor or holds primary records.

To exercise rights or raise privacy concerns with Esafqa, email info@esafqa.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law. If changes are material, we will provide notice through reasonable means, such as an in- App notice or updated documentation.
