Running a sale on Shopify shouldn't mean a night of spreadsheet edits

Shopify stores prices per variant. A storewide sale touches hundreds of rows, and every one of them has to go back when the sale ends.

Editing hundreds of variants by hand

Typing new prices into the bulk editor or a CSV is slow, and one wrong cell can sell a product below cost.

Sales that start late or never end

Someone has to be awake at midnight to start the sale and remember to end it, or the discount keeps running into full-price days.

Losing the original prices

After the sale, the old prices live in an export file, if anyone saved one. Prices changed during the sale make a blind re-import risky.

How a sale works in Sale Scheduler

Five steps, from the price rule to the restore. You see the exact result before Shopify changes anything.

  1. Set the price change

Increase, decrease or set prices by percent or amount, choose an ending like .99, and decide what happens to compare-at.

  2. Choose the products

All products, collections, products, specific variants, or one advanced condition on title, tag, vendor, type or SKU. Exclude what should stay.

  3. Review every variant

See the price before and after for each variant. Rows are Ready, Warning or Skipped, and only Ready rows are applied.

  4. Start now or schedule

Start right after review, or pick a start and an end. Scheduled sales are processed within about a minute of the time you set.

  5. Restore previous prices

Scheduled sales restore automatically at the end. You can also restore any sale yourself, and variants changed elsewhere are skipped.

Everything you need to run price-based sales

SalePilot changes catalog prices and compare-at prices, so the sale price shows everywhere your theme shows a price: product pages, collections, search and cart.

Safety is the product

Every part of the workflow is designed so a sale can't quietly damage your catalog.

Nothing changes until you start

Previews and drafts never touch Shopify. Prices change only when you start or schedule a sale.

Previous prices are saved first

Before a sale changes anything, the app saves each variant's previous price and compare-at price.

Newer prices are never overwritten

When restoring, a variant whose price was changed somewhere else after the sale is skipped and flagged for you.

Warning rows are not applied

If a compare-at price would not be above the new price, Shopify wouldn't show a crossed-out price, so the row is held back.

Restore is never blocked

Restoring prices is never blocked by your plan or usage, and restored rows don't count toward usage.

Preview safety limit

Broad selections load up to 500 products and 2,500 variants per review and warn you when a catalog is larger.

Questions merchants ask

What is Sale Scheduler by SalePilot?

It's a Shopify app that changes prices and compare-at prices in bulk with a preview of every variant, runs sales now or on a schedule, and restores the previous prices when a sale ends. It's built by E-SAFQA and listed on the Shopify App Store.

Is SalePilot a discount code app?

No. It changes your catalog prices and compare-at prices, so the sale price shows on product pages, collections and search. It doesn't create discount codes or checkout discounts. See sale prices vs discount codes.

Can I schedule a Shopify sale to end automatically?

Yes. Choose "Schedule start and end", set the start and the end (or a duration), and the app restores your previous prices when the sale ends. Scheduled times are processed every minute, so a sale starts within about a minute of the time you set.

What happens if I change a price during the sale?

Your newer price is kept. Before restoring a variant, the app checks its live price in Shopify, and if it no longer matches the sale price, that variant is skipped and labeled "Skipped because price changed" so you can review it.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $5 a month (Lite: 1,000 successful variant changes a month). Starter is $10, Growth $19 and Agency $49 a month, with annual options and a 3-day trial. Stores without a plan get a free allowance of 10 changes a month. See pricing.

What counts toward my monthly usage?

Only successful variant changes. Previews, drafts, skipped rows, Warning rows, failed rows and restores don't count, and a variant counts once even when both its price and compare-at change.

Can I repeat the same sale every week?

Yes. Recurring sales repeat weekly on the days you choose or every 1 to 90 days, and each occurrence restores prices when it ends. You can pause, resume or stop a recurring sale at any time.

Which languages does the app support?

The app's admin is available in English, Arabic (right-to-left) and Spanish, and each staff member can choose their own language. Countdown labels are free text, so you can write them in your store's language.
