How to undo bulk price changes on Shopify and restore previous prices
How to undo a bulk price change on Shopify: restore old prices from a CSV backup, reverse percent changes, and avoid overwriting prices changed since the sale.
Sale Scheduler edits product prices and compare-at prices. It doesn't request access to orders, customers or payments, it stores the previous prices it needs to restore your catalog, and it bills through Shopify.
The app requests permission to write products, which includes reading products, and permissions for metaobjects and metaobject definitions. Current features use product data only. It doesn't request permission to read orders, customers, payments or staff.
Product access is what lets the app find the variants in a sale (by collection, tag, vendor, product type, SKU or title) and change their price and compare-at price.
Before restoring a variant, the app reads its live price in Shopify. If the price is already back at the original, nothing is written. If it still shows the sale price, the previous price and compare-at are restored. If it shows anything else, someone changed it after the sale started, so the variant is skipped, labeled "Skipped because price changed", and left for you to review.
Restoring is never blocked by your plan, your usage or a downgrade, and restored variants don't count toward usage.
Plans are Shopify app subscriptions in USD. You approve them in Shopify, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice. SalePilot never receives card details. There are no usage-based charges: going over a limit blocks new sales until next month or until you change plans, it never adds a fee.
Shopify stops the app's access and cancels the subscription. Prices already in your catalog stay as they are, so restore any running sale before you uninstall if you want your previous prices back. Shopify's data-request and data-removal webhooks are supported; the privacy policy explains what is kept and for how long.
No. The app doesn't request order, customer or payment permissions.
Sales change the price and compare-at price of the variants in the sale. The countdown is added to product pages only when you turn it on in the theme editor.
