How to bulk edit prices on Shopify: bulk editor, CSV, Flow and apps compared
How to bulk edit prices on Shopify with the bulk editor, a product CSV, Markets, Flow or an app: steps, percent changes, rounding and a safe way to undo.
Sale Scheduler changes prices across many variants with one rule: increase, decrease or set a new price, by percent or by amount, or set prices to the current compare-at. You see every variant's new price before anything changes, then start now or on a schedule.
Each sale has one price action. It applies to every variant in the sale, and the review shows the result per variant.
| Action | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Don't change price | Keeps prices; useful when the sale only changes compare-at | Add a crossed-out price without changing the price |
| Increase price | Raises the price by a percent or a fixed amount | +8% on all products before a new season |
| Decrease price | Lowers the price by a percent or a fixed amount | −25% on a collection for a weekend |
| Set new price | Sets every variant in the sale to the same price | Every item in a "$19 deals" collection |
| Set to compare-at price | Sets the price to the variant's current compare-at price | End a markdown by returning to the compare-at |
After the price action, you can add a price ending such as .99 or .95, and choose one of 8 compare-at actions, for example keeping the original price as the crossed-out compare-at. Everything is calculated together and shown in the same review.
Never before you decide. Choose "Start after I review" for a permanent change, such as a seasonal price increase, or "Schedule start and end" for a sale that restores the previous prices automatically. Either way, the app saves each variant's previous price and compare-at first, so you can restore them.
Yes. Choose "Increase price", enter the percentage, target all products, and review the result. Add an ending like .99 if you want clean prices. Choose "Start after I review" to make it permanent.
Usage counts successful variant changes. A variant counts once even when both its price and compare-at change, and skipped or Warning rows don't count.
